Its hard to imagine a time when my family didn’t get together and sing hymns. Music is a binding force for us. It’s something that my ancestors did “for fun” when they didn’t have money to do other things. I grew up hearing about it from my grandmother and her siblings, but over time I’ve realized this tradition goes back many generations in the Vanderburg family.
