Tea Cup
A little over 40 years ago a teacup was given to my mother right before my grandmother died. I was never alive to meet my great grandma but I have seen many pictures of her. One of the distinct features of her was that she always had an eye patch. I never have asked why she has had this. In many pictures, she is drinking tea with one of her many teacups. But the picture that we have of her drinking tea is using this cup. We have always wondered where it has came from because it has a Asian design. She got this cup when she was 20 years old and gave it to my family to remember her legacy. We have many of her teacups but this is the most memorable one because we have a picture of her drinking out of it.
