This object is called a Tasbih. It's from Bangladesh but you can find it in any muslim country, it is used for count praises. For Example:Subhanallah,Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar,Astagfirullah and etc.., My mom or any of my familymembers uses it (also elders),it is made out of beads, string and fabric (maybe), when to use it: imagine you are scared because of your thoughts, use a Tasbih, the more you count the praises, the more you are calmed. The reason why i chose the Tasbih, it's because it is inspired by my religious beliefs, it teaches how i am grateful to my country and religion, it is connected to my mom, my parents from Bangladesh immigrated to Italy, then after 45 years we immigrated to the U.S, then NYC. My questions are: why was this made? Is it similar to any religion? Lastly, my final thought is that the object is AMAZING <33!!!1!1! Islam fact: the first muslim person to make and use the Tasbih is Fatimah bint Muhammad, also known as Prophet Muhammad’s daughter.
