The food in the picture is tamales and this food is important because it's something that my culture makes for special occasions and also it shows what us Mexicans love to eat.tamales can be made in different types of ways. Some are made with chicken or pork and also have either green or red salsa. There are also sweet ones like pina, Fresa,and corn. We usually make tamales on Christmas, parties, or birthdays. Mostly my family likes eating this traditional dish.Tamales reveal how our culture is really traditional because passed on generations my whole family knows how to make tamales which I think is something unique because not all families pass down or show their culture to their children or families.
