Tamales are a food that is very famous in Mexico.  Tamales are made out of Maseca, pork, chicken, cheese, and corn.  My grandmother taught my mom how to make tamales and now my mom is teaching me.  Tamales are really important to me because they have been in my family for a long time now and the recipe has finally been passed down to me .  My family usually makes the most tamales when Christmas time comes around and on New Years, we also make them sometimes when we are celebrating birthday parties or when someone does their first communion or confirmation as a tradition that were used to. Once you eat on tamal you will not resist and want more.  Tamales are the best!
