A painted mug.

I have always had a passion for art, drawing, painting, sculpting, you name it. I have made landscape paintings of the beach, the garden outside my home, and the countryside where my godmother stays and I have drawn portraits of myself, my friends, and my family. One of my favorite projects would have to be the clay vase that I sculpted and the paper flowers that I made to go along with it. This piece was actually placed in a gallery!Mom has always been fond of my works and always encouraged me by buying plenty of art supplies. For my 16th birthday, my mom surprised me with a trip to a place called Color Me Mine. It wasn’t until we stepped into the building that I remembered what this place was, it was a painting studio; one of my favorite painting studios! I had not been there since I was younger and I remember always wanting to go back. I was so excited that I could barely contain myself and thanked my mom so many times! I picked out a cupcake to paint and my Mom picked out a mug. Once we were finished painting, my mom showed me the mug. It had the word LOVE on it and she told me that this mug would be a reminder for how much she loves me.
