This is my great great grandfather John Abner Denman Moore’s tea set he immigrated from Sweden because they wanted more land and that land was free. When he was about 40 years old he became a school teacher he then retired and went on to establish a Jewish church. He was the pastor for that church for over 30 years. When he died he gave this to his wife to give to family now it lies in our hands. This is very important to me because it shows how hard my great great grandfather worked to have a happy life for the rest of his family it also is important to me because it shows some of my traditions sometimes on thanksgiving we drink out of these cups because it shows that we still care about our Swedish ancestors. The writing on the far left side means “coffee is the best of all earthly drinks” . The homestead certificate was also my great great grandfathers.
