Staking tools
This box was my great-grandfather, Ralph Pisarri’s staking tool made by Kendrick and Davis co. Once he got out of the Navy, he went back to school to learn how to fix watches. This box is around seventy years old. Back when watches were spring powered, once it needed to be fixed you would bring it to a watchmaker. They would use the staker (the metal object) the stumps and the skinny bits to hold the watch parts in place while you fix them. After he did watch repairing for a couple years he eventually became a heating technician but watchmaking was still a hobby for him from then on.
