My object is a St.Gabriel archangel statue. It is made out of clay like material and was given to me by my grandmother. It would usually be used for praying or decoration in the house. It is mostly rough because it is really old it was given to me when I was born and has gone through a lot of deterioration. It also came from Costa Rica, my home country, which is where I lived for 3 years and then visit every Christmas. This object is important to me because it has been with me my whole life. It’s also really important because it's part of my religion. I believe in the archangels and think Gabriel is one of my favorite archangels because he delivers messages from God to other places vice versa.  It is also very important to me because it was given to me from my grandmother with much love and care when I was a baby and helped me go through very hard times. This St. Gabriel Archangel statue describes part of who I am because every time I look at it it brings peace to me and I feel very connected to it.
