When my Great Grandmother died, she had this spoon collection that she passed down to my Grandmother.  After she passed away, my mom was having a hard time with it so my Grandmother decided to give it to my mom. What it is, is a collection of spoons from all around the world. There are thirty six spoons in the collection and they are from States and some of them are from other Countries. By owning this spoon collection, it helps us remember all of our family that has passed away because everyone that put a spoon in it and participated, has passed away. Most of these spoons are from around the 1940's, although, it was passed to my mom when Great Grandmother died in 2008. These have to do with tradition, family, and travel within my family in the past.
