Sopa De Caracol
As I get out of a car from that tedious ride I smelled a unique smell that made me really hungry but at the same time I was car sick so the delightful smell turned into a smell of unbalancement and gas. As I walked towards the house and away from the car I smelled a smell of flavors that are being combined all in one food I see my mother, aunt and uncle cooking some type of meal made of crab, shrimp, clam, onions, oregano, tilapia, ginger, cilantro, and culantro. I didn't want to eat the sopa de caracol but I had to because my aunt, uncle and mom slaved away to make a bowl of sopa de caracol. As I took my first bite I was amazed at how good it taste and I decided that one plate wasn't enough so I ate two .The flavors inside the dish was whimsical. It was hard to connect it with other foods because it taste like something I had never tasted before. I ate the dish and I left with a smile. The flavors of the food never left my mouth because it is one of the best food i’ve ever tasted. My love for this food will never wither. My only regret is I didn’t eat more sopa de caracol.
