This object is important to me because it reminds me of the time I was in Mexico. It was the year 2022, me and my family were in Mexico to visit. It was fun and we met a bunch of relatives and close friends. Once it was time to go, we first had to do a quick check to see if we had COVID or not (this was around the time when COVID was still appearing). It turned out that I had COVID and my parents were deciding on who was going to stay with me. After a bit my father was going to stay with me for three days. A day later my father took me with him to go shopping and while we were looking around, I saw a black sombrero. My father asked if I wanted it and I said yes. He also got a white one for himself. After three days we were allowed to go home, we took the sombreros with us. To this day, the sombrero hats still mean a lot to me as it is a reminder of all the fun days and the love that my father and I shared while he took care of me while I was sick. This hat will serve as a reminder of my heritage, my family vacation, and the love they have for me.
