This necklace was brought to me from my grandparents when they were in Vietnam. My grandparents couldn’t save a lot of things when they were leaving Vietnam so my grandfather brought what he could in 1986 when they left. My grandparents had to travel by boat with my mom, aunt, and uncles but unfortunately one of my uncles got shot when they were trying to leave. They were on the boat for days until they arrived in America. After a few years in America in 1991, they all had to get jobs and study hard in school and all the while they used the items above to pray for good fortune. Then when my mom, aunt, and uncle got married they shared the objects with my other aunts and uncle. Then when they had children they passed it down to me, my brother, and two cousins for goodluck. And now I hold
