My family is from Brazil, I lived there since I was born until I was 17 years old. Two years ago me, my mom and my brother immigrated to the USA. When I was 15 years old my mom gave a shirt to me. She said that when she turned 15 her mother (my grandmother) bought it for her.  I wore it once, I prefer to just take care of it and when I have a daughter I want to pass it to her so she can do the same. I never saw any family of friends have something like that, I think this is what makes our family special.
