In 2021 for spring break I went to Isla Mujeres, an island in the gulf of Mexico with my three cousins, my family and my grandparents. Isla Mujeres is the most beautiful place toll ever visit it has the most Gatorade looking water iv'e ever seen. When you jump in you can feel the ocean warming your heart like a little hug. We made so many fun memories there but one stuck out to me. One day we were on a walk by the water and my cousin pointed out a big conch shell in the water between some rocks. It wasn't that deep so my cousin went in the water and took it out (luckily the water was quite warm that day) she got back up on to the path an we all observed the shell. I remember that it was very white on the outside with and orangy pink inside and it was very smooth it had nothing living inside so we decided to take it back to the hotel. All the parents said they didn't want to take it home sense it would take up to much space in out suitcase so they said we would have to bring it back to the ocean. But all us kids came up with the perfect idea to leave at the hotel we were staying at called “Ixchel” which sounds like “shell”. So we left it in front of a sigh Ixchel hoping no one would take it. This spring break were going back to Isla Mujeres and looking for the shell we left there 5 years ago.
