Shamrock

My object is a shamrock a miscellaneous and to immigration because my ancestors came from Ireland and this is an object that they brought back it’s called a shamrock. The shamrock is made from glass and is a sculpture of three lobed leaves. It is used to hang on a Christmas tree like an ornament. I know the shamrock is from Ireland because my mom told me about the shamrock and how it got here. My family got to New York on a boat to the NYC harbor and took residents on Jane street and then during a snowstorm in the 1800’s moved up to Hell's Kitchen. The special occasions I have with the shamrock being a national anthem of the Irish. As well it's an connection where everybody from all places immigrated to america from all races and now hold resident to all sorts of people. My holidays such as St Patrick Day, Ireland, The Holy Trinity, and St Patrick's Day parade. The shamrock is an an important item to me because it tells the tale of our family's past of our ancestors and how they got to NY in america.
