My mom used her greatest talent to support our family in Albania. She was know in our town as the best seamstress, everybody came to her for all of their alteration needs and custom work. My dad would work right beside her and help anyway that he could. This generated enough money for my family in Albania. When we came to America my mom did not have the clientele that it took to generate enough money from her sewing. My mom now works at Saks for the alteration department but she still continues to work at home on her machines, mainly because she enjoys making clothes and its her true passion but to also generate extra money. My dad works in upholstery for a high end company that caters to interior designers.
