Seashells from Miami
The waves of the ocean lap gently on the shore, the ocean shines a clear aquamarine blue. An incredibly bright color for real life. I walk across the shoreline, sifting through the sand looking for shells that catch my eye. There are many mostly pink and orange shells on the beach and the occasional piece of sea glass mostly green but I did find one clear piece. I was on that beach because I was visiting my uncle in Miami. I have always been drawn to the ocean, and that trip to Miami only increased my love for it. It was just so peaceful walking along that shore, finding orange sunset shells, and bits of dried out coral. Coral reefs are in great danger right now, and we need more people to be fighting global warming and the pollution killing our oceans. So this issue too has made me determined to help the cause in some way. So I've decided that becoming a marine biologist is a good way of doing that. I think that saving the ocean is a cause that I would be happy to devote my life to.
