The object I chose is a seashell, I think it’s from a beach in Brazil. It’s used for decoration in my room and it’s made of natural resources. I use it as a decoration. I really like the seashell, it is pretty.  
I chose it because it represents that we go to the beach a lot, my mom and dad used to go to the beach often in Brazil. It shows that part of our culture is going to the beach. It’s connected to my parents who immigrated to the U.S from Brazil in 2003. I’ve been to where some of my family members live: Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul - it’s a really nice village.
I wonder what beach my ancestors got it from. That’s probably why I sometimes go to the beach.
