Scarf
The object is a scarf made by my great-grandmother in 1946, and it was given to my grandmother when they left Pakistan and went to India during the war in 1950. The scarf is made of fabric and was used to keep them warm during the cold winters. It was passed down to my mom from my grandmother but we do not have any uses for it. It is just an object to remember my great-grandmother. She worked very hard and it is good that there is something to remember her by. It tells a story of how my grandmother moved to India and what she brought with her. It is important to me because it is a part of my ancestry and it goes back a long way in time.
