My father grew up in Roma, Italy since he was a young boy he was obsessed with music, he always had a certain ear for it people told his parents, and he understood it a lot more than other young children. As he grew up he started to really get into it, and study it. He grew a big interest in jazz and he started to want to play the saxophone. He loved artists like John Coltrane, Clarence Clemons, and a few others. One summer when he was 21 he asked his dad if he could get one, keeping in mind saxophones cost a lot of money and his family did not have a lot of it. His dad decided if he worked on the farm for the whole summer he would buy him one. My father took this opportunity and at the end of the summer, they went shopping for one. Around that time too my dad was looking for internships in the US, and he got one at Intelsat in Washington DC. he was very excited to get the opportunity to go and even more excited that he would be going to the land where all his favorite artists are from. He was quick to take this opportunity. In his first year there he played music when he didn't have work, eventually, he got into a band called Zeddicus which is a world music/reggae band. Music has always been a part of his life and still is to this day and he still plays.  -Andrea Fabbri
