Sash
My object is a sash, it was made in Guatemala. It says escolta, this means the second person to carry the flag. When I started school my grades were bad. When I lived with my grandmother I had to learn about to go to school and do anything to earn a sash. First grade finished and I was wondering how did I even pass first grade. I got to be in second grade and the school was harder for me and a new teacher came to school. I was starting to love school, but my goal was to be better and get the sash. The school year was passing and I was doing everything to get the sash, for me it was a very great gift for my grandmother and uncle. In trimester two I took a test for all the classes and I was waiting for my grades. One week later they gave me the report card, I could not believe that my grades were something different than the other years. I got the sash that I always work for, everyone was so excited. The day when my grandmother put the sash on me it was a very special day. The sash is in Guatemala. My goal for now is to get all A’s in high school and my motivation for this is my grandmother.
