Saraswati Figure

This figure This is my mom's goddess figure. Her name is Saraswati. This figure mother brought from guyana. She left when she was 10 years old with my aunt/her sister my grandma/her mom my grandpa/her dad  so basically she left 30 years ago. My mom comes from a really small town or village called Berice when my mother left with a boat to come to North America. Guyana is in the northern side of South America. This figure is really important to my mom because it represents our culture Hinduism. Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, speech, wisdom, learning and the Saraswati River. She is mostly known for her four arms that hold a book, a rosary, a water pot, and a musical instrument.

This figure is really important to me because it teaches me a lot about my culture and I have never been or seen Guyana.
