Traditional Cambodian clothing, the Sampot is important, because the clothes remind me of the past and my cultural heritage. The past reminds me of the hard work my family did to get here from Cambodia. We wear the Sampot during special events, celebrations and New Years. I feel proud and thankful when wearing it and when doing our traditional dances.
