Verde tamale is my favorite food from Mexico. I am Mexican-American and this dish reminds me of my culture.

There are many more flavors of tamale, but every time I eat these, they remind me of my culture and where I am from. Also my family in Mexico. Verde tamale is a very popular food in Mexico and every time my dad makes tamales he always uses his great great great great grandfather recipe.

Ingredients
1.maseca dough.
2. salsa verde that has jalapenos,cilantro,and green tomatoes.
3. pork shoulder.

I love tamales because they are easy to make and they remind me of happy times with my family.
