The tradition that my family and I celebrate in Mexico is called Rosca de Reyes. The Rosca de Reyes has a round shape like a donut, only it is bigger. made of dough and is frosted with pieces of fruit and it must also be baked inside the ring, several plastic dolls representing the baby Jesus are placed. Once prepared and baked we can already enjoy the delicious banquet that you have to go for more. In Mexico, if you get the representation of the child God after cutting the bagel, you become his godfather or godmother, so on February 2, Candlemas Day, the date on which Joseph and Mary appeared to Jesus before the Church, they will have to invite the tamales. This celebration is connected with Christmas since we also get together with the whole family eating and celebrating these holidays. With this I identify myself as a Mexican who is proud of their traditions that are carried out. For me this is important since it represents my family, my cultures and my ancestors who also celebrated this tradition.
