My name is Jason Melendez and I am 13 years old. I am from Puerto Rico, but I was raised in the Bronx. Most of my family lives in the Bronx. My grandmother moved to Puerto Rico, but she lived in the Bronx for 20 years. The object that means a lot to my family is a rosary because we believe in god and god believes in me. This is why this object means a lot to me. When I see this object I think of god and my family. We use it when we pray. I learn that it is blessed and I believe it has good luck. I got this object when I was 13 years old. One of my family members gave it to me. It makes me feel safe and happy because it is blessed to be on my chest. This object came from church, which is the house of god.
