The object is a rosary that my greatgrandfather gave to my grandmother. It is from Dominican Republic. It is used for praying.No one uses it since its special to my grandmother and she doesn’t want it to rip. It is made out of gold beads and has a gold cross. The rosary protects you. It’s a sign of faith and hope. Also it gives you strength and connects you to God.The rosary is important to me because it is more than fifty years old. The rosary is religious for some Catholics . It tells Catholics about the world they believe in. It also tells the story about how Jesus died on the cross and on the third day rose from the dead. It is connected to my grandmother because her dad gave it to her and one day I hope she will give it to me.
