I have been in the United states for more than ten years. My best friend gave me this ring before I came to America. The ring changes color when the light around it changes. It is bright purple when it is under sunlight and when it is under a light bulb, it is white like milk. When my friend gave me this ring, she told me that even though we will be apart, our friendship will stay. I will always remember my friend as I wear it. We grew up together as best friends and classmates from pre-k through middle school. I will never forget my best friend.
