Rice Pilaf
The recipe of Rice Pilaf is something my family can mutually bond over. It's the only Armenian recipe, to my knowledge, that my family brought from the homeland itself. The dish is normally made from wheat and rice but my grandparents changed the wheat to orzo. The recipe specifically comes from my father's side of the family. When I enjoy the dish for dinner, I feel like I 'm experiencing a blend of my heritage with each spoon I take. It's like the Armenian recipe has infused itself in my American lifestyle. I wish to pass on our recipe in the future in order for the recipe of Rice Pilaf to continue to move from generation to generation.
