This dish is from Puerto Rico and is one of the best dishes that is made. This dish is made up of rice and Gandulez (Pigeon peas) which taste kind of like nuts. This dish is important because it is one of the many foods that is made in my culture. And is mostly cooked during Christmas and Thanksgiving. My grandma and great grandma were the ones who introduced it to me and that is when I first learned that I loved it.
