My object is a recipe for Calabacitas con Elote, which my great grandmother used to sell at her restaurant. This comes from my mothers side of the family and is a traditional Mexican recipe. Calabacitas Con Elote is made out of zucchini, corn, onions, and cheese. This meal has value to my family because when my great grandmother first came to America, she made a living off of selling this meal and meals similar to it.
