Reboso

A reboso is a type of blanket that you can use to cover your baby or swaddle him or her up. The reboso that is in the pictures used to be my Grandma’s who held my youngest aunt with it. My grandma gave the reboso to my mom, where its original place is from Izucar de Matamoros Puebla, Mexico. My mom hold me with it and swaddled me with it when I got sick when I was a baby and the reboso will be passed down to me so I can old my future child. This reboso means a lot to me because it represents me, and my culture and my mom’s family culture and it represents that I'm the only child from two immigrants who decided to move from their homes to come to the U.S., so they could have a better life for them and for their family.
