Ramadan is a islamic religion and a holy month in the islamic calendar. I started fasting when I was around 7  and was learning more and more about Ramadan. I didn't understand why we fasted and stuff like that during that time. I only fasted to be included and make my mother proud when I was 7. I remember when I was fasting when I was 7. I didn't like it at first because I had to wake up before sunrise during 3-4 am to eat and stop eating when the sun came up and until sunset. Today I know most stuff about Ramadan like how it was first revealed and stuff like that. I feel more proud and like closer to god when I fast during that time. I mostly read the quran and go to school and pray when I fast. I now gotta fast no matter what unless medical issues and emergencies or stuff like that. I learned that the age 15-around 45 has to fast due to religious reasons. I feel like I understand many things about Ramadan and know its rules and stuff but that is basically my story.
