Ramadan is a Holy Month of Worship In the Islamic Calendar. The Islamic calendar is also known as the moon calendar. In this month People fast as a form of worship to Allah. Fasting is one of the 5 pillars of faith.I remember the very first time I fasted in Ramadan and my day went like. I woke up during Sehri which is before Fajr. Fajr is the first obligatory prayer of the day. Then after waking up during Sehri I ate and since it was my very first time eating during 3-4 am in the morning the food really was terrible .And after that I prayed my first prayer of the day. Well, half of the day went by while I was sleeping but when the Maghrib came the time to break my fast. I was able to last till evening at my very first fast. But then the disaster struck immediately after I ate. I vomited out all that I ate. But, slowly I got used to it and didn’t have any problems with my fasting after those times. Finally, fasting in Ramadan is important and obligatory for Muslims who hit puberty. And there’s nothing called forcing someone to do something in Islam so even if someone doesn’t fast it’s responsibility is up to the person.Last but not least, Muslims Fast to Please ALLAH(swt).
