The Quran

The Quran came down (fell) from the sky on the first Ramadan, that’s why we fast for the month of May. The Quran is an important time for Muslims. God made the Quran a very long time ago. Muslims have to read the whole book, it’s the longest book (it’ll take forever). You can not throw the Quran because if you throw the Quran you can turn into a dog and go to HELL instead of Heaven. If put your leg on the Quran, there will be holes in your foot, and worms too. There will be no cure. It’s a curse from God. The Quran is a really important book in the Islamic world.
The Quran describes about the past and how it was. There once was a story about a golden cow that was described in Surah Baqarah, and also there was a story about Lahab in Surah Tabat. Every Ramadan,we go to a mosque to pray. There is a man who is the Hugur, he reads the Quran everyday (the Quran is very long) and he finishes in just one month. During Eid, it’s the same process, but you don’t read the Quran in a series of days ending at one month. Eid is only one day. One person memorizes the whole Quran. If you memorize the whole Quran you get credits and you become a Hugur. You have to go to a school to become a Hugur. To become a Hugur it takes many years of practice. There’s mostly Hugur schools in Muslim countries.
