My object is the Quran, it is a religious book for Muslims. This is very important to the Muslims people. My mom carried this on her way to America from Bangladesh. The Quran is very important in someone's life, therefore you need it so you can read it. The Quran is used for religious purposes. You must memorize some of it or all of it, it is very important to do so. When a Muslim goes for Salah (Prayer) you have to read one Surah (Chapter) from the Quran in one part of the prayer. All Muslims have a Quran so they can pray and remember Allah (God).
I chose this object because in my Muslim family, we read it for guidance and prayer, so my mom wanted to keep the Quran with her in America to be guided and to pray in America. This Quran teaches me that I am Muslim and that I am a Servant of Allah (God). It reminds me everyday to pray five times a day (That’s how many times Muslims have to pray a day to Allah). Every Muslim is connected to this book, and they love it as much as I do.
For me, I don’t have any questions for my ancestors about this book, all my questions are answered in the Quran. I will always keep this with me and pass it on to my kids. I will teach them the ways for Islam and how the Quran is very Important to every Muslim.
