Quran
The Quran was made in 600 ce in Saudi Arabia. It is a book that must read in my culture. The Quran is in written in Arabic. Some Qurans have been translated into English. Mine is only in Arabic. I use a translator to help me understand the words of the Quran.
I got my Quran from a local mosque. A mosque is a holy area where we go to pray. Today, many qurans are made in here in factories. The outside cover can have different designs and decorations. The inside, however, is always exactly the same. The Quran is separated in 31 sections. I am on the 9th section in my Quran. My whole family reads the Quran. My mom and my grandmother read it the most.
I hope to one day continue the tradition of passing the Quran down for generations to come.
