My object is a quilt made by my grandmother. If you don’t know, a quilt is a blanket or bed covering made out of scraps of fabric or patchwork. This certain quilt is a doll quilt, which shows quilts can come in many different shapes and sizes. I chose quilts because both sides of my family make quilts. Also, quilts show that the quilter is hardworking. Even though this quilt was made by my grandmother, the fabric for the quilt belonged to my great-great aunt. A question I would like to ask my family about quilts is when the tradition of making quilts started in my family. Quilts are very important to my family because the tradition of making quilts and certain quilts in general have been in my family for decades.
