Childhood Quilt.

I used to panic when people would ask about my family history and if I could tell them about it.Now that I have gotten a bit older and I am able to start asking questions, I did. I didn’t really get much out of it but all of the Horrorific stories. So I started telling people about my Family Traditions and what makes them special. One of my family traditions is that the Grandma would either save all of your childhood clothes or she would sew pieces of stories of our history together. If she felt like we were mature enough she would give us one of hers passed down from the generations that came before her. My quilt was very colorful, I had baby clothes and imagined people with animals or in a field with flowers. It has my name on the corner inside of the tassels at the end of each corner. We are always told to never forget where we came from or our history, traditions or things of value to us because that is what makes you, you. If you ever forget that then you don't know who you are. So it is important for us to have things that remember important values of ours.
