I had a purple stress ball that I got when I was in the hospital. When I was 10 I had a disease known as appendicitis and that put me in the hospital for a month. On the first day of staying in the hospital I received that stress ball from the hospital to help me. That stress ball was from my family who were immigrants and was passed down from my cousins. That stress ball was with me the entire time I was in the hospital. It helped me when I was struggling inside the hospital and helped me relax while in the hospital. In the hospital there was a lot of stuff I had to do to recover and prepare for the surgery, and made things a lot more difficult than usual. Doing even the simplest stuff was difficult for me so carrying that stress ball and it reminding me of my family and the people who helped me gave me hope. I still have the stress ball as just a nice reminder of all the struggles and difficulties I had experienced that I managed to get through.It shows me that people care and how strong i was to overcome those challenges at a young age. It also reminds me of my family and how much they helped me during those times, and that gives it a lot of value to me.
