For my object i have chosen a boat. I chose a boat because my great-great-great-great grandparents came to America from England on the Mayflower. They came to settle in the “The New World” but then a generation or so later they moved to Canada. That is where the rest of my family is from. My grandparents were known as the Lalondes. Without them getting on that boat and making that huge sacrifice to come to America i may not be here right now. That is crazy to think about because my grandparents before mine may have not have met. So i thank them for making that big sacrifice for coming to the “New World.”
