My mom and her family are Hindu. They pray in-front of a puja (which is what the photo I took is of). My mom’s parents live in London and as a child I often would do a puja in London with her parents and my cousins and brother.  The puja is very significant to me and even as I was a small child I remember praying in-front of a puja with my family.  My brother and my favorite thing was lighting the candle for the puja and ringing the bell to invite god into our house.  We always do a puja to celebrate important Hindu holidays and when we are worried about someone we love.
