The Promise  A promise is a particular thing that is sure to happen. My mom and my grandma and I made an oath to trust each other and tell each other everything. One day my mom, my grandma, and I learned that we all three have something very important in common that should be talked about but is not talked about enough. It went from my grandmother to my mother to me. So, my grandma, my mother, and I all made an oath to not be silent anymore and not let things slide, and this is a promise ring I have to remind me of our oath.  I wear this promise ring most of the time. The ring is a symbol to remind me to NEVER, EVER BE SILENT AGAIN.
