My object is a prayer mat from America. It is used for prayer for Muslims. The prayer mat has traditionally been made from wool of cotton and silk. Muslims pray with the prayer mat 5 times a day.
I chose this object because it’s part of my religion. It teaches people about how Muslims prayer. My family also uses my prayer mat and my mom bought a while ago. Sometimes I use a different prayer mat.
A question I have is how old is the oldest prayer mat in the world. What is the first prayer mat? And when was it first used. My final thoughts are that hopefully I keep using my prayer mat in the future.
