For a long time people in Chad used to cook by using three rock to hold the pot and woods to blow the fire. Before we don’t have indoor ovens or stoves so our grandma used to figure out a way to cook.  They even make their own flour at home, so basically they make a lot of things at home without using machines. But now thanks god we got a lot of machines so it makes our life easy. But even today some people use these pots because they use to it so they feel comfortable using it and to connect to their culture. Today we use the same pot we used to use over a fire on our stove and it means a lot to me and my family.
