Porcelain Animal Boxes
Relationship:
Child of im/migrant
These three animal boxes were handed down to my mom from her parents. They are symbolic: the rabbit symbolizes liveliness and prosperity. The rabbit is followed by the carp, which symbolizes health and strength. At the end, there is the tortoise that symbolizes long life. These objects are placed on the mantelpiece in our house, so everyone can live under those hopes and values.
