I’ve always been fond of keeping my loved ones close to my heart in every way possible. The object that I chose is called a “Polaroid”. The Polaroid's appearance is a small frame that is usually white and I would describe the texture as smooth and grainy. The natural granny filter gives ages the photo by decades. Polaroids are used with little to no effort and this object is usually used during special moments such as spending time with friends, events, etc. I first learned about this object when I was in fifth grade and Polaroid cameras started to become all the rage especially after new and more vibrant colors dropped. This object makes me feel like I can be more with the people I love. It's also important to me because I am able to capture special memories in that very moment and hold it dear to my heart forever. I remember in freshman year taking a picture with one of my friends that threw a going away party right before moving to Chile, which was a bittersweet moment as I cherished her so much as a friend and also wished her the best. Another moment was also in freshman year. My friend and I had our first sleepover and she wanted to use her Polaroid camera. Something people need to understand about this is that Polaroids or cameras in general hold so many emotions and memories that went into making a moment so special. Big or small.
