Pierogi                                                            

My food is Pierogi. Pierogi are from Poland. Pierogi are used for eating normally and on some special occasions like Christmas and family gatherings. People around the world eat Pierogi because Pierogi are popular around the world. Pierogi are made out of dough and the inside of your choice. But my family usually eats it with meat, potatoes or blueberries\apples and sprinkle cut onions. Pierogi are called dumplings in english but there might be a slight difference between both of them.
I chose to write about this food because it is very popular in Poland and is very good with a lot of flavor. Also we always have them on Christmas and other special occasions. Pierogi can teach about my family's  Christmas because we always have them on Christmas with Beetroot soup. Basically every polish person has eaten Pierogi before.
Some questions that I have about Pierogi are when were Pierogi made first? Did they get an update since then or were they always made like this? I feel good about Pierogi because whenever someone makes them I feel like I'm in Poland. Also it reminds me of my grandmas and cousins and aunts and uncles and sometimes even makes me think about Polish culture.
