My family moved to the United States of America in 1992 with a help of the U.S president and an organization. They've lived in Washington for 34 years. an object that I chose is Phở. Phở is a Vietnamese dish soup noodle, It has rice noodles, rich in beef broth with fresh herbs, and can be added with other toppings. It is also one of the popular dishes in Việt Nam. Pho is important to me because it creates unforgettable memories that make me feel nostalgic and connected to my culture. When growing up, there was a Pho restaurant where me and my family would go when I was a little kid. I love going out with my family a lot because I was spending a lot of quality time with them together and everything was meaningful about it. I can remember the times I watched my siblings get drinks for themselves, the aroma of beef pho noodles and toppings ingredients arriving to our tables, everyone at the table talking to each-other, and eating the beef meatballs were always my favorite thing to eat back then. Till to this day, we still continue to go to this restaurant occasionally. Pho represents my connections with my family, culture, and the warmth that brings to my heart.
